About McKissick Properties

McKissick Associates Properties is the development arm of the architectural firm of McKissick Associates Architects.  The Central project is a synthesis of all the firm’s experience in historic preservation, sustainable design, school archetype familiarity, and adaptive reuse implementation. For this project McKissick Associates will be a one-stop-shop, functioning as developer, architect/engineer, general contractor, historic preservationist, interior designer and more.

With 4 registered architects, 3 LEED accredited professionals and a woman-owned affiliated firm–McKissick Associates InSights– McKissick Associates has the skill and talent to be a one-stop-shop for any project.  Firm owner Vern McKissick has been engaged in architecture in Pennsylvania for more than 30 years. His portfolio includes more than $1 billion in construction.

McKissick Associates InSights is a woman-owned design and research firm based out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Kristen McKissick, firm owner and interior designer, has spent the last few decades making the interior space match and meet the needs of clients across the east coast.  She previously sat on Harrisburg’s Historic Architectural Review Board and has been involved in the development of the city’s preservation guidelines.
